The Intercultural Development Program (IDP) at UBC Okanagan is dedicated to fostering cross-cultural skills essential for students’ academic and professional success.
The IDP aims to enhance students’ academic and personal experiences by integrating theory, reflection and practical skills to develop intercultural competencies.
The program offers a range of workshops on contemporary cross-cultural topics, designed and led by students and advisors.
A key objective is to create a supportive environment where international students, domestic students, and students studying abroad can combine their personal and academic experiences through an intercultural perspective.

IDP can be completed through the duration of the student’s academics.

Participants will receive a letter of completion with a reference.

ELIGIBILITY AND APPLYING
Program Requirements
All UBCO registered students are eligible to participate in the IDP.
