    WHY Global Seminar?

Global Seminars are group-based study abroad opportunities. Each seminar is unique in its location, course content, length and cost.

These seminars are taught by UBC faculty members in an international location, and students receive UBC course credits upon completion.

    Benefits and Outcomes

These programs allow students to complete credits in the summer and have an international experience in a shorter time frame—allowing them to minimize disruption to their busy lives.

These programs are intensive learning environments in which they are immersed into both the academics and the environment for weeks at a time.

Traveling with a group is a benefit to those new to travel as well as those that would like additional safety measures in place while abroad.
